How We Got Here
As a young teenager, Greg Sr. built a much needed addition to his mother's home. The kitchen was extended out the rear of their home for additional eating space. This addition continues to exist on this home today.

Wildwood, NJ in the 1950's was a small, sparsely populated town where home improvement and construction were necessary skills for every day life. These skills were passed down from family, neighbors, and friends. Greg Sr. learned how to swing a hammer at a young age, and was no exception to this rule.

GCBS started in 1972 when Greg Sr. and his older brother, James, began Wildwood Roofing and Heating, one of the regions premier commercial and residential roofing companies. At this time, Greg and James completed countless noteworthy projects, such as the roof installation for Wildwood staples; The Grand, The Port Royal, and The Adventurer Motor Inn.

As the 1970's continued, Greg Sr., now a seasoned carpenter, once again modified his childhood home on 8th Street in North Wildwood. This time, an apartment was added to the second floor as living space for Greg Sr. and his wife, Angela. This modification, too, exists on this home today.

In the 1980's, faced with challenging market conditions and a growing family, Greg Sr. transitioned to a more steady source of income while continuing to passionately complete bathroom, kitchen, and basement renovations.

In 2008, Greg Sr. returned full time to residential construction in a huge way, completing a custom built two family home in North Wildwood, NJ. This side by side duplex was in excess of 5,000 SF, and was complete with top-of-the-line finishes. This project began a pattern of steady, consistent growth over the next two decades.

Today, Greg Sr. continues to build, oversee, and manage, many projects per year. These projects range from small kitchen and bathroom remodels, to new single family homes.
